An outdoor wedding venue on the river road in Norridgewock, north of Waterville in the upper Kennebec Valley. It is the informal end of the spectrum and it is refreshingly direct about what it does and does not do.
There is no hard capacity limit, but tables and chairs are provided for 150 — beyond that you are renting your own, which is worth costing before you set a number. Alcohol is unusually simple here: the venue does not require a bartender and is BYOB, which at most Maine venues is either forbidden or comes with a licensed-bar requirement. Several arbour styles are available, along with a fire pit, lawn games and rustic centrepieces. Bring your own marshmallows for the s’mores.
